ACTIVE INGREDIENT

GABA

GABA stands for Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid. It is a neurotransmitter, meaning it is a chemical that transmits signals in the brain. GABA is known to inhibit or reduce the activity of nerve cells in the brain, which makes it a calming agent. It is often referred to as the “brain’s natural Valium”. GABA is involved in regulating anxiety, sleep, and muscle tension. Low levels of GABA have been linked to anxiety disorders, while high levels of GABA have been linked to sedation and sleep disorders. There are medications that target the GABA system, such as benzodiazepines and barbiturates, which are commonly used to treat anxiety and sleep disorders.

GINKO LEAF EXTRACT

Ginkgo leaf extract is a natural supplement derived from the leaves of the ginkgo tree. It is commonly used as a treatment for a variety of health conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, anxiety, and depression.

The active constituents of ginkgo leaf extract are flavonoids and terpenoids. These compounds act as antioxidants, helping to protect the body against oxidative damage caused by free radicals.

Ginkgo leaf extract is also believed to improve blood flow and circulation, particularly in the brain. It may also help to reduce inflammation, which is thought to be a contributing factor in many chronic health conditions.

While ginkgo leaf extract is generally safe for most people to use, it may interact with certain medications, including blood thinners and anti-seizure drugs. It is important to talk to a healthcare provider before starting to use any new supplement, including ginkgo leaf extract.

INOSITOL

Inositol is a carbohydrate that is found in many foods, especially fruit, and has a role in the regulation of insulin and glucose. It is also called vitamin B8, although this designation is not recognized by all scientists. Inositol has been studied for its potential effects on mental health, including anxiety and depression, as well as its ability to improve insulin sensitivity in individuals with type 2 diabetes. It has also been studied for its potential role in cancer prevention and treatment, but more research is needed in this area. Inositol is generally considered safe, but high doses can cause gastrointestinal side effects. It is available as a dietary supplement in various forms, including capsules, powder, and liquid.
